About Dr. Wasserstrom

Jeffrey P. Wasserstrom, M.D., a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Medicine has over 26 years of eye care experience. In addition to have performed thousands of refractive procedures including PRK, LASIK, and CK as well as thousands of intricate cataract and intraocular lens implant surgeries, Dr. Wasserstrom is fellowship trained in glaucoma surgery and the latest treatment for glaucoma. He has served on the clinical faculty at the University of California, San Diego for 20 years where he taught resident physicians eye surgery techniques.
Dr. Wasserstrom has been named one of the top physicians in San Diego according to the San Diego County Medical Society and San Diego Magazine for three consecutive years 2006, 2007, and 2008. He has been on several medical missions to underdeveloped countries in Central and South America and Eastern Europe performing delicate surgeries and teaching new techniques to other eye surgeons. He has been involved in numerous clinical research clinical trials for several pharmaceutical companies for the past 23 years.
